The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) is a major housing scheme of the Central Government of India. It was initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The intention behind the launch of the PMAY scheme was to provide housing solutions to the poor.

The credit linked subsidy scheme (CLSS) of the PM Awas Yojana also offers a 6.5% up to Rs.2.67 lakh home loan interest rate subsidy.

1. Land on the official website of the PM Awas Yojana.
2. Once on the portal, you have to choose the ‘Select Beneficiary’ alternative and go for the ‘Search by Name’ option. You need to do that from the drop-down menu.
3. Now, you need to enter the first 3 characters of your name as mentioned in the PMAY form (Aadhaar Card’s name). You have to click on the ‘Show’ button.
4. The PMAY list results will be displayed on your screen. It is how you can check it out and look for your name in the PMAY list and other details.
